Slipknot has released a new video that’s meant to be viewed on your phone

This is a first (I think): a music video designed to be viewed in portrait mode on a mobile phone. No need to rotate the screen 90 degrees.

Slipknot’s new album, We Are Not Your Kind, will be released Friday.

Hey Alan, I’m sure you’ve heard this all before, CFNY was a formidable force in my youth beginning in 1984 at U of G (Pete and Geets, Lve Earl, the Road Show days). I love the work you continue to do, and reserve your podcasts for special listening occasions when I can relax and just enjoy them, not disturbed, like on a beach in the Bahamas. The one about the history of CDs brought a smile to me, the only mini-CD I own is by Grand Master Flash ( no doubt you know which song). Anyway, I’m one of the countless that have gone back to vinyl, happy i never did toss my collection, and recently bought Beatles the White Album and some Buddy Holly, simply because it’s awesome stuff and I was too young to enjoy them when they emerged. Your information about the declining quality of vinyl in the 80s was totally unknown to me.

I’m rambling, and don’t really have any questions, just maybe a couple other podcast ideas, and maybe you’ve covered these already…fans that have taken things too far OR bands that have actually avoided the perils of fame and have remarkably been drug free OR bands that had the best or worst contracts?

Keep up the good work, Ralph, Bracebridge, On
