Some climate protesters attempted spray paint Taylor Swift’s private jet
If you’ve been following the Climate Wars, you’ll know that there’s a group of protestors going around defacing things (like works of art and Stonehenge) with paint and other substances as a way of attracting attention to the cause.
The latest bit of news involves the Just Stop Oil people who spray painted several private jets at Stansted Airport in the UK. Two activists (or vandals, depending on your perspective, I guess) somehow got into a secure area and use fire extinguishers loaded with orange paint to decorate several plans. The ultimate goal was to get to Taylor Swift’s Falcon 7x private plane.
They failed. It’s unclear if the plane was at the airfield or if they just missed it. The two protestors, Jennifer Kowalski and Cole MacDonald were arrested by Essex police.
Tay-Tay has been singled out over the last few years for having a massive carbon footprint thanks to her private jet trips. One study from the University of Central Florida named her “the biggest celebrity CO2 polluter” on the planet.

“…somehow got into a secure area…”
These mental midgets actually recorded themselves using a grinder to cut through a chain link fence and enter the airport to get to the planes.
Vandalizing an aircraft is a federal offence, and while I understand their message, their methods are pretty pathetic and short sighted. I hope that they enjoy being in federal prison for a while and living the rest of their lives with a criminal record.
