Some Personal Picks for Canadian Music Week

The madness starts tomorrow.  Last person standing Sunday night wins.  Here’s what I wrote up for MyMusic.com:

Canadian Music Week is kind of like Christmas. You can’t wait for it to get here but when it does, there comes a point where you just want it to end. A person can only take so much sensory overload, socializing, lack of sleep and, yes, alcohol. But, hey, someone’s gotta do it.

CMW is a little more complicated for me because I also attend the conference portion which has some sessions starting at the evil hour of 9am. 

Going out Tuesday and lasting through Wednesday is okay. Adrenaline and black coffee will pull me through. But then I’ll run up against the Radio Music Awards Wednesday night. That means I’ll have to face the public interview I’m doing with Simple Plan and their management—a 9:25am start—at less than optimal efficiency.
