Someone Has Found a Deadly Use for All Those Old AOL Discs

Remember how AOL used to foist free install discs on everyone? At one point in the 90s, 50% of all the discs produced in the world had the AOL logo on it. How many did they produce? The best estimate I’ve found is 660 million. That’s a lot.Apparently,

Apparently, though, they’re collectibles now (collectors are VERY competitive) even though there must be tens of millions of them still out there. But for those not interested in that hobby, here’s another: turning old AOL discs into ammunition. A YouTuber has created what might be the world’s first CD gun.

Watch it in action.
