Someone Has Finally Come Out with a Death Metal Christmas Album
JJ. Hrubovak, bass player for Eternal Hate, has put together a compilation entited Death Metal Chrsitmas – Hellish Renditions of Christmas Classics. I quote from the press release:
“[A] twistedly unholy rendition of some of the seasons darkest hymns” will feature five classic Christmas tracks ripped apart, with blast beats, guitar solos and new lyrics.”
Like what? Well, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” has been recast as “Unrest for Melancholy Men.” “We Three Kings” is now “Earthen Kings.” And “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” is, er, “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.”
Here’s a sample. More at Metal Injection.
