Funny/Weird

Something weird for a Sunday morning. Behold an instrument called the “porciphone.” And yes, it involves pigs.

Max Vandervorst is from Belgium who likes to experiments with different sounds. In this case, he invented a new musical instrument that he calls the “porciphone.”

Described as a “tuned pip instrument played with two plastic pigs,” it’s a bit weird. But it’s fun. (Via BoingBoing)

If pig-related music generation is your jam, you might want to investigate the “pigano,” a keyboard instrument created for the pleasure of Louis XI of France back in the 15th century. It was a little less humane.
