This is the Song That Could Get Chris Cornell an Academy Award

Hollywood award season has begun and while the studios, agencies and publicists cower about impending sexual assault/harassment allegations, they’re distracting themselves by the delusion that it’s business as usual. That means it’s time to start campaigning for Academy Award nominations.

Chris Cornell, of course, doesn’t care about any of this, but there are people who really, really want his song “The Promise” (the theme from a movie of the same name) to be nominated for best original song.
