Songs You Never, Ever Need to Hear Again

Here’s yet another Buzzfeed list, this time featuring 12 songs that no one ever need hear again.

I’m okay with most of them, but “Bad Touch” by Bloodhound Gang?  It’s not a great song, but it made the cut?  I can think of dozens, maybe hundreds of tracks that are much, much worse.

1.  Paul Anka and Odia Coates, “You’re Having My Baby”

Nothing–repeat NOTHING–is worse than this song.

I continue with my top ten:

2.  Billy Swann, “I Can Help”

3.  Olivia Newton-John, “Physical”

4  Chris DeBurgh, “Lady in Red”

5.  Whitney Houston, “I Will Always Love You”

6.  Debbie Boone, “You Light Up My Life”

7.  Crazy Frog, “Axel F”

8. New Kids on the Block, “Hangin’ Tough”

9. Rednexx, “Cotton Eye Joe”

10. Anything by Creed

How big can we make this list?  Fire away.

I hardly expect better from Buzzfeed, but their list is a pretty smug run at one-hit wonders. Most of the songs I never need to hear again were overexposed because they were good! Honestly, most of the hits by the Stones, Beatles and Eagles fill me with dread when they come on in public.

I never again need to hear Rebecca Black's "Friday". But I'd rather be subjected to that than the number one on this list!
