If you’re a fan of Canadian hip-hop like I am, you will be excited to hear about an event happening at The Drake Tuesday the 27th of February.

The Drake Hotel is hosting “Sonos Song Stories: Northern Touch” a free event that will dive into the history of this groundbreaking track with a who’s who lineup of Canadian Hip Hop royalty like Kardinal Offishall, DJ Karla ‘HustleGRL’ Moy, Shad, the Rascalz and more.

If you think that Toronto Hip-Hop started with Drake, maybe you should take a few minutes of your day to check out this event.  If you can’t make it Tuesday, you can read this article from the CBC instead.

The evening will be hosted by Ty Harper from the City On My Back music blog:

ADDRESS: Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen Street West
DATE: Tuesday, February 27th, 2018
TIME: Doors open at 6:30PM. Event starts promptly at 7:30PM and ends at 9:30PM.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the show seems to be sold out. But you are in luck! I have an extra tickets for the first commenter who is able to make it to The Drake the evening of Tuesday Feb 27th.
