Cool!

Sons of Apollo drummer Mike Portnoy offered this tribute to Neil Peart

Mike Portnoy is one of the few drummers in the world who might have been able to keep up with the late Neil Peart. There was even a brief rumour that he might take Neil’s place within Rush. (He could do it, not it’s not gonna happen. Not ever.)

Portnoy was enticed to perform this tribute to his friend (Mike was privvy to Neil’s brain cancer for almost two years but never said a thing) that Peart would definitely have found very, very funny.

  • I have thought about Neil every day since his passing. This video made me laugh out loud, I’m sure the professor would have approved.
