That Soundgarden Track That Was Released Yesterday? It Heralded a Big Release of Rarities

Soundgarden - Echos

Yesterday, a ghostly new Soundgarden track called “Storm” suddenly appeared on the Interwebs. What did it mean? This box set or rarities, apparently.

Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path is a three-disc set of material that Soundgarden has had in the vaults for a while–except “Storm,” which was recorded with legendary grunge producer Jack Endino back in May. Divided equally into originals, covers and “oddities,” the set is due November 24, just in time for Black Friday. It can be pre-ordered here.
