Spinal Tap, Elton John, and Stonehenge have been united on a new album!

In about a month, we’ll get the premiere of the Spinal Tap sequel, The End Continues. Not only that, but there will be a new Spinal Tap album. Seriously.

The record (due September 12) features 13 tracks, nine of which are brand new and the remaining four are re-imaginings of ST classics. Guests include Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and Elton John. In fact, we have this from ST and Sir Elton: A reworking of the classic “Stonehenge.” This time, they got the scale right.

Here’s the tracklisting for the new album.

  1. ‘Nigel’s Poem’
  2. ‘Let’s Just Rock Again’
  3. ‘Flower People’ with Elton John
  4. ‘Brighton Rock’
  5. ‘The Devil’s Just Not Getting Old’
  6. ‘Cups and Cakes’ with Paul McCartney
