Spiritualized Get Extra-Spacey

Jason Pierce has always been kinda out there, if you know what I mean.  After all, his band, Spiritualized, do have an album called Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating in Space in their discography.

Spiritualized has just announced a new track done in conjunction with this year’s Record Store Day.  The assignment given to them (along with Beach House, The Antlers, Youth Lagoon and others) was to incorporate sounds from the Voyager 1 and 2 space probes generated by electromagnetic radiation fluctuations encountered by each craft on their never-ending multi-trillion kilometre journey.

You can read more about the project at The NME as you listen.
