Spotify has launched a new alt-rock playlist with a trailer proving that rock isn’t dead

No, rock’s not dead. Yes, in some territories, it’s fallen behind hip-hop in terms of popularity and cultural influence. But dead? Hardly.

That’s the theme of this trailer from Spotify being used to promote a new alt-rock playlist it calls MARROW (all caps, please). It takes the form of a true crime thriller that stars The Beaches, KennyHoopla, and Destroy Boys. SPOILER: No one killed rock because it’s still very much alive.
