Spotify is getting the biopic treatment from Netflix called The Playlist. Here’s a trailer.

When Netflix first appeared online in 2008, most people didn’t get it.

“So lemme get this straight. You rent music by paying a monthly fee? And when I stop paying I lose all of it? Pass. Forget it. What a rip.”

Yeah, well, that was then. Now streaming is the status quo and Spotify is the leader in the space. How did we get here? A new based-on-real-life-drama airing on Netflix starting October 13 seeks to answer some questions. Check out the trailer for The Playlist.
