Spotify Launches New Service Called “Music Happens Here”

At least once a year, I take a trip to a city with some kind of music history and spend time looking at and for various historical landmarks. Spotify has teamed up with Live Nation and Hilton Hotels for a new series of videos called “Music Happens Here.” The goal is to provide context on “some of the most iconic places around the world where music has been created, performed, and celebrated.”

The first stop is London. Nashville and New York are next. There are also vague promises of “experiential music events” (Concerts. Duh.) for anyone who’s a member of Hilton Hotel’s loyalty program. Let’s see what happens with this.
