Stat for the weekend: The more metal bands a country has, the happier its people
I know, I know. Correlation doesn’t mean causation. But this bit of data from the World Happiness Report points out an interesting connection between metal and happiness–at least in Europe.
This graph shows that the more metal bands in a country (measures as metal groups per 1 million people), the happy the population. If this is true, living in Finland must be a real headbanging party.
The study was restricted to Europe. I wonder if this applies in the rest of the world?
