Steve Miller canceled his entire 2025 tour due to “acts of God”

The Steve Miller Band has been a staple of the summer touring season for decades–but not this year. Steve is concerned about the weather. I quote:

“Dear Steve Miller Band fans:

“You make music with your instincts, you live your life by your instincts. Always trust your instincts. The Steve Miller Band has cancelled all of our upcoming tour dates. The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires makes these risks for you, our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So, you can blame it on the weather, The tour is cancelled.

“Don’t know where, don’t know when… We hope to see you all again.”

Is this the first time a tour has been canceled because of recent weather disasters? Maybe. This will certainly annoy fans who insist on believing that climate change is a hoax, not to mention everyone who bought tickets in advance.

Or hang on: Could this be just an excuse to bail on a tour with low ticket sales? I wouldn’t rule that out.
