Stonehenge, Ancient Concert Venue?

Archeologists may have given hippies, ramblers, crusties, New Age cranks and various heavy metal bands a new reason to revere the rocks at Stonehenge.  After four years of study, it’s quite possible that the whole thing was constructed for audio purposes.

Neolithic man was no dummy when it came to sound, apparently–or so this research seems to indicate. This new field of study–archeoacoustics–interprets the acoustic properties of ancient structures like Stonehenge.
