WTF?

Stupid study alert: These are the songs people prefer while sitting on the toilet.

No, really. I get the idea that people are running out of things to study when it comes to music. But let’s look at this, anyway, just because of the gross factor.

Uswitch, a UK broadband provider, commissioned their ad agency to come up with something that would get clicks. They decided to analyze Spotify playlists in an effort to find out which songs are most popular when people are sitting on the toilet. They accomplished this by looking at keywords such as “bathroom,” “toilet,” and “pooping.” Once everything was scraped (sorry; bad imagery), they created two lists.

The first is called Top 20 Songs Listened to While Pooping. Yay, The Neighbourhood!
