Sunday Service: Our 15 ReverbNation Picks of the Week

It’s Sunday again and that means another round of ReverbNation Picks.

1) Gabe Lopez feat. Belinda Carlisle “California Blues”

This Los Angeles musician has his music playing on both FM and Sirius XM radio, iHeart Radio, and in clubs. His sound is fun and upbeat Pop featuring a funky guitar riff.

2) Berdoo “Topshelf”

From San Bernadino, California Berdoo is unapologetically Metal. Their fast, aggressive music features plenty of shredding.

3) Saints of Bliss “What are we fighting for”

Saints of Bliss are a Pop-Punk and Indie band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland. Their music leans to the softer, more sensitive side of the genre.

4) Ron Meyer “Station”

A long-time musician from Salt Lake City, Utah, Ron Meyer has played with many bands. His solo music is a Blues-y Rock that features Psychedelic grooves.

5) Siren Call “Harness”

Based in Vienna, Austria, Siren Call draws from a variety of influences such as the Doors and Nirvana. Their sound is a catchy, upbeat Punk.

6) Reverse Order “Erase You”

Finalists on America’s Got Talent Santa Clarita, California’s Reverse Order have supported a number of big name acts like the Backstreet Boys and Avril Lavigne. They have an unbeat, Pop Rock sound.

7) Vernon Neilly “They Don’t Care”

Originally from Nassau, Bahamas, Vernon Neilly is now based in Los Angeles. His music has a hard Punk vibe.

8) Phase “Transcendence”

Dark, Psychedelic Rock is how I would describe Phase. This Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK band has performed with a number of well-known musicians.

9) Nickolas Benson “Song for You (Last Minute Villain)”

From Los Angeles, Nickolas Benson has a Blues-y, Country sound. His music is laid-back and relaxing.

10) Xakestar feat. Marek Starx “Frailty + Flares”

Originally formed in Tehran, Iran, Xakestar is now based out of Falun, Sweden. The Scandinavian country is perfect for their melodic, yet dark Metal sound.

11) Radio Drive “A Taste of Heaven”

Kevin Gullickson, the driving force behind Radio Drive has lived across the United States but now resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The music he makes with his band is Alternative Rock that features atmospheric sounds.

12) Dead Day Revolution “Bury My Soul”

This Sierra Madre, California band blends together a wide range of influences to create their music. Their sound is Blues-based Rock with Psychedelic undertones.

13) Blackberry Wednesday “Start Again”

Memphis is a city with a rich musical heritage. Blackberry Wednesday mixes some of that heritage, especially Memphis Soul, with their heavy, Rock sound.

14) Sarantos “Dreamer”

Sarantos has been busy recording and releasing new music every month. This Park Ridge, Illinois musician has an upbeat and fun sound.

15) D-Rich “Dream Killer”

Although he was born in San Fernando, D-Rich was raised in Trinidad and now resides in New York. As a result, his Roots-y, Blues-y sound has a slight Island twist.
