Sunday Service: Our 15 ReverbNation Picks of the Week

It’s the fifth week of our ReverbNation Sunday Service. Here’s our picks this week.

1) Tribal Theory “Reclamation”

Formed in 2005, San Diego-based Tribal Theory blends Reggae with their Pacific Island background. Their sound is heavily Reggae influenced with a hint of Rock and R&B.

2) Heaven and Earth “No Money, No Love”

This Woodland Hills, California band takes Classic Rock sounds and gives them a modern twist. Their music has a definite 70’s Blues-based Hard Rock vibe.

3) Seven Story Fall “I, Spy”

From Wayne, Michigan, Hunter Kennedy is the driving force behind Seven Story fall. The music he writes is the epitome of Pop-Punk.

4) Ray Ray Star “Feelin’”

Ray Ray Star brings back the sounds of Arena Rock. Based in North Hollywood, California, he brings sounds just as aggressive as Iron Maiden and Deep Purple.

5) FifthLaw “Sometimes”

Driving, Rock n’ Roll is what Yorba Linda, California band FifthLaw is all about. Their sound blends Punk, Indie, and Blues-based Rock.

6) Harrison Nida “Celebrity Crush”

Growing up in California, Harrison Nida was influenced by the sounds of bands like Blink-182, Weezer, and Nirvana. The Pop-Punk he creates now draws a heavy influence from those bands.

7) Drayter “Not Alone”

Fronted with powerful female vocals, Dallas-based Drayter blends Pop with Rock. Their sound features the swagger of Rock and the angst of Punk.

8) Sleep Signals “Digital Sleep”

A five-piece from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sleep Signals draws from a number of influences. They mix the aggression and catchy-hooks of Post-Hardcore with the expansive sounds of Arena Rock.

9) Healthy Junkies “Watch Out”

Based in London Healthy Junkies has a hard, heavy sound. They take influences of acts such as Bowie, Blondie, and Iggy Pop, and use it to create their own Garage Rock Sound.

10) The Storytellers “Decisions”

This British four-piece band has a big Pop-Punk Sound. Their music is somewhere between Pop-Punk and Emo-Pop.

11) Marquis of Vaudeville “Bliss Chemical”

An imaginative band from Dallas blend together different sounds and styles that go surprisingly well together. The describe their music as carnival-eque Punk Cabaret, and the description is quite apt.

12) Voice of Addiction “Modern Day Meltdown”

Chicago-based Voice of Addiction have an aggressive Punk sound. They are very successful in the Chicago Punk scene.

13) SunGhosts “Hydro Pump”

From Miami SunGhosts has created their own Indie-Pop style. Their sound blends Surf Rock, Psychedelia, and Pop-Punk.

14) WD-HAN “Runaway”

With a blend of Blue-based Rock guitar, Pop, and Classic rock, WD-Han draws from a variety of inspiration. From Clearwater, Florida WD-HAN has really created their own style of Alternative Rock.

15) Some Velvet Morning “The Disappeared”

London band Some Velvet Morning started playing together in the mid-2000s. Their Indie sound draws influence from Classic Rock and 80’s Post-Punk.
