Sunday’s #StrongerTogether broadcast SMASHED ratings records for Canadian TV

Did you watch the #StrongerTogether broadcast this last Sunday night? Chances are you did because 11.5 million Canadians tuned in on TV. That’s a staggering 31% of the country’s population.

This makes it the most-watched non-sports broadcast ever in Canada. Yes, even more than the Tragically Hip’s final concert. The peak came during the world premiere of “Lean on My” from the all-star Canadian ensemble we’re called AristsCAN.

The goal was to raise money for Foodbanks Canada. So far, more than $6 million has been pledged.
