The Super-Cool Lighting Technology That Has U2’s Attention

If you haven’t seen the crazy light show in the video for “Invisible,” pause a moment to take a look.

That visual spectacular was created by Marshmellow Laser Feast (MLF for short).  We can only imagine what it looked like in colour.  From The Creators Project:

Commissioned by Jefferson Hack (U2’s Creative Director and founder of Dazed & Confused Magazine) in collaboration with MLF, and Juliette Larthe and Mark Logue of PRETTYBIRD, the project used interactive 3D lighting and video architecture to directly translate the band and audience’s movement into panoramic visuals.

I’d expect MLF to be involved with whatever tour U2 has in the works.  Here’s another creation by the same company.
