  • Interesting how they’re ALL from the sixties and seventies. A good statement on the quality of music for the past twenty years or so.

  • Awful list. I would say this was populated by a lot of classic rock lovers. Don’t get me wrong, I have 95 of these in my collection, but a good handful or two (or three…) don’t belong in the top 100 Greatest Albums of all time. Styx, Iron Maiden, Blizzard of Ozz?? I would never categorize Rush in the top 50, let alone twice. Pet Sounds being #29 tells you a lot about this list. Personal opinions of course.

  • Jeez, have the idiots that put this list together even HEARD of Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Glenn Gould, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf and DOZENS of pioneers? Arrgghh, they just do this sort of shit to be annoying!

  • This is actually one of the more accurate lists I’ve seen in awhile.

  • These are the best records of “all time”? Since recording has been going strong for more than 100 years, it’s odd that these idiots would only come up with pop stuff from the 60s on. Like, nothing happened before that? Or did these people just never bother to find out? Good motto: Discover OLD music, it will be NEW to you!
