Susan Boyle’s Unintentionally Inappropriate Hilarious Hashtag Scandal

The dreaded inappropriately unintentional and hilarious hashtag has bitten Susan Boyle.  And it wasn’t her fault.

SuBo’s followers were invited to a listening party for her new album, Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs from the Stage.  The tweet was appended with a hashtag that was a contraction of “Susan album party.”

Unfortunately, when you jam all those words together, they can be interpreted quite differently.  “Susan album party” became “Su’s anal bum party.”  Oh, dear.

Then again, this is trending worldwide, giving SuBo’s album an unexpected promotional lift.  Maybe then this was some kind of unintential act of genius.

  • SNL did an awesome Celebrity Jeopardy bit a few years ago. Darrel Hammond's Sean Connery chose Anal Bum Cover for a category. I still giggle about that.
