That 1997 Bentley Turbo R for sale on Autotrader? A previous owner was Noel Gallagher.

More than 25 years ago, Alan McGree, the head of Creation Records and the guy who discovered and signed Oasis, gifted Noel Gallagher a chocolate brown 6.8 litre 1997 Bentley Turbo R. A lovely gesture. Unfortunately, Noel didn’t have a driver’s license. But he did have enough money for someone to drive him around in it.

After keeping it around for a bit, he sold it. There have been five other owners since. That car is now listed for sale on Autotrader UK for the low, low price of £1.2million. Other similar cars are listed at between £6,200 and £37,000. So yeah, there’s a Noel premium.

I quote from the listing:

“The car is in excellent condition with a superb interior and is surprisingly reliable although rarely driven. Comes with private registration marking the second coming reunion of this once-in-a-century band.”The license plate is “OASI5 2.”

The car has a healthy 101,824 miles on the clock and comes with a complete service history.
