The 2019 Juno Awards are looking for volunteers

I get a lot of emails from people looking for ways to get involved in the Canadian music industry. One of the first pieces of advice I give them is to find ways of volunteering.

Canadian Music Week, which is held every spring in Toronto, always needs volunteers. So does North By Northeast, another Toronto event. And then there’s the Junos.

This year’s celebration will be held in London, Ontario. Organizers need help at JunoFest, transportation assistance, production help, PR, and more. Juno Week starts March 11.

If you’re interested and available, you can apply to get some pretty cool not-for-the-public access by going here. It’s an excellent chance to network and learn.
