The 20th Anniversary Reissue of Rage Against The Machine’s Debut Record is Out Today. Listen Here.

Rage’s 1992 debut still ranks up there with the best first efforts in the history of rock.  I vividly remember listening to “Killing in the Name” and “Bullet in the Head” for the first time and thinking “This is a debut album?  Holy shit!”

The record hasn’t lost any of its power since it was first released on November 3, 1992.  It deserves special reissue treatment.  Read about the box set that’s out today here.  Then go buy it out of respect.

  • Well said. One of my first CDs I ever owned. A full on start-to-finish masterpiece
    Of a first effort.

  • 20 years old. Good Lord that makes me feel old! I remember buying this on cassette. And then on CD. And it's still better than most rock music released these days.
