The ABBA Voyage avatar show is in previews and…wow

All the members of ABBA are now in their 70s and have no intention of ever performing again. And now they don’t have to because they’ve created ABBA Voyage, an avatar/hologram performance built with technology from George Lucas’ Industrial Light and Magic. The show, set in a purpose-built 3,000-seat venue in London, has already sold 380,000 tickets. And judging from this preview, this kind of thing could herald a new music experience for fans.
