¡Uno!, the first of a triptych of albums from Green Day, won’t be available for sale until the 25th but the band is already onto the fourth video clip from the record. So far, we’ve had “Oh Love,” “Let Yourself Go” and “Kill the DJ.” Now we have “Nuclear Family,” which will be the first track from the album.
This means 25% of the record already has been video-ized. Is there more coming?
I’ll bet there is. Green Day is smart. They know that a very sizeable portion of their audience uses YouTube and other video services as a primary source of music discovery. These videos aren’t terribly expensive to make and they fill those needs of the YouTube generation.
