The annual Toronto International Music Video Festival is coming next week

Although channels like MuchMusic and MTV run nothing but reruns of Ridiculousness these days, the music video remains a recognized artform. Next week, the second annual Toronto International Music Video Festival takes off for a three-day event (Nov 8-10).

Filmmakers and artists are coming in from around the world (people from forty countries have submitted videos) and they have worked with Usher, Miguel, Ella Mai, N.E.R.D. & Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Feist, The Beaches, Valley, Tinashe, and many others.

HQ for the event will be The Rec Room at the foot of the CN Tower (225 Bremner Boulevard). Here’s the schedule of events. Tickets will be available at the door.
