The Answer to the Suicide Squad Question That’s Been Bugging the Internet

First, let’s take a look at the trailer for Suicide Squad. Pay attention to the eerie version of the Bee Gees 1968 song, “I Started a Joke.”

Who’s singing that song? It’s been trying the Internet insane since the trailer was released at Comic-Con.  Fortunately, the Internet is self-healing and can answer its own questions. The recording is by Becky Hanson.  Here’s the full version.

So who is Becky Hanson? Great question. She records for a weird little record label/production house out of LA called Confidential Music that seems to specialize in trailers for movies. Becky has released material like this in the past for a movie called Run All Night.
