The Brazilian Megadeth Drum Orgy

First it was all those crazy Italians playing “Learn to Fly” in an effort to woo the Foo Fighters to play their town. Now we hear of this Brazilian attempt to set a world record for Guinness for the band with the largest number of drummers.

The project, called Bateras 100% Brazil, came together on August 9 in Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo. Organized by a dude named Dino Verdade–he owns the country’s biggest network of drum schools–156 drummers set up their kits to play along with Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction.”
