The Breeders Prepare for a Comeback: Rehearsal Video

Fans of 90s alt-rock remember how Kim Deal’s Pixies side project suddenly became a platinum act with their album, Last Splash. But rather than build on that success, the band became dysfuctional, mostly because of heroin.

Now, though, the Breeders are going to try and pull everything back together with the original Last Splash lineup of Kim, sister Kelley, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson.  Slicing Up Eyeballs posted this iPhone video of the band rehearsing in Kim’s basement on New Year’s Eve.  Shit, this sounds good.
