The Canadian Air Guitar Championships are coming up July 13

Over the last couple of decades or so, playing air guitar has turned into something of a vocation for a certain class of extroverts on an international scale.

City by city, local championships are held. Winners go on to compete on a national level. That person then travels to Oulo in Finland for the World Air Guitar Championship.

The Canadian Air Guitar Champions are set for The Mod Club in Toronto on July 13. Among the competitors will be Ichabod Fame, this year’s Toronto winner. Other finalists will come from Ottawa, Montreal, Kamloops, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Medicine Hat. Get tickets here.
