The Cat Video Festival

As we know, the Internet only exists to offer a forum for cats. Realizing this, some folks in Minneapolis founded the Cat Video Festival.  In its inaugural year, it attracted 10,000 (NOT a typo) people.  More than 13,000 were expected to attend yesterday.

I wish I were making this up.  As a species, we’re doomed. Bring on the extinction-level asteroid. Please.
