The CFNY: The Spirit of Radio documentary adds a Buffalo screening (plus a reminder about Vancouver)

We’ve been touring the extended mix version of the CFNY: Spirit of Radio documentary for a couple of months now. While there’s the 60-minute TVO version available on YouTube, this full-length cut fills in a lot more gaps.

Friday (April 17), we’ll be at Harmony Hall in Stouffville, an event that will include an old-school CFNY Video Roadshow the Q&A.

Next Saturday (April 25), a bunch of us will be at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver. Tickets are available here.

And just announced is a screening at the Town Theatre in Buffalo on May 29. Western New York was a HUGE market for CFNY in the olden days. Given that the TV channel is geo-blocked, this will be the first American screening of any version of the film.

Tickets are US$25 in advance, which includes the screening (doors at 7, film at 8), a Q&A (9:30) and a CFNY Video Roadshow with Nicholas Picholas acting as your DJ (10:30). And yes, there will be plenty of merch.
