The corona virus is really gonna mess up the tech industry and our supply of gadgets

So much of the consumer electronics we crave are manufactured at factories in China. But with the corona virus (COVID-19, if you want to be specific) wreaking havoc through the country, many factories are working at reduced levels or are closed altogether.

Some companies like Samsung have moved its production to Vietnam. Apple has provided Q1 financial guidance warning of a slowdown because of problems at Foxxcon plants in the country. Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker, has said the same thing.
