The Cure has posted a trailer for the new concert film, The Show of a Lost World

Last November, I traveled to London to see The Cure perform their then-new album, Songs of a Lost World, at the 3000-person Troxy on the night the record was released. There were cameras all over the place, along with notices saying that the event was going to be filmed, but no one had any idea that this was going to be a concert movie. It was a very long night with 31 songs in the set.

That film, The Show of a Lost World, will first appear in cinemas on December 11 with a DVD . Don’t bother looking for me; I was way up in the balcony, but just below was the VIP area featuring Billie Joe Armstrong, Ed O’Brien of Radiohead, Boy George, and actor Pedro Pascal.
