The Diddy trial enters its second week

The trial of Sean “Diddy” comes will become its second week tomorrow. The first five days was filled grueling, disturbing testimony brought forth by the prosecution. This included four days of testimony by his ex, Cassie Ventura. Some highlights:

  • She broke down sobbing when asked to recount what she did and saw at Diddy freak off parties, saying that she was essentially in Diddy’s employment.
  • Cassie revealed that she got a US$10 million settlement from that infamous hotel hallway beating by Diddy in 2016.
  • There was also a US$20 million settlement paid to her by Diddy’s companies.
  • We learned that Diddy ODed on some kind of opiate.He was hospitalized.
  • She is eight-and-a-half months pregnant. One of Diddy’s lawyers said that her physical appearance is “prejudicial.”
  • There were plenty of photos of baby oil.
  • Drugs were brought up: clonazepam, MDMA, and ketamine.
  • Dawn Richard, another witness and a member of Danity Kane, took the stand Friday. She claims to have seen Diddy try to hit Cassie with a skillet full of eggs when his breakfast wasn’t ready. That was 2009.
  • In a new civil suit, a Jane Doe accuser claims that Diddy assaulted her in 2001. She likened Diddy’s junk to a “Tootsie Roll.” In her words, “itty bitty Diddy.”
  • A group of “Free Diddy” supporters have been outside the courtroom this week.
  • Off site, Justin Bieber denied being any of Diddy’s victims.
  • Diddy’s lawyers are angling for a pardon from Trump.
