The Duck Dynasty Christmas Album is Outselling the New Britney Spears Record

Let’s just ponder that headline for a moment.  How does it make you feel?  That there is a God?  That’s there’s no God?  That American has now entered the Idiocracy?  That the end of the American empire? Dementia brought on by chemtrails?

Last week, Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas debuted at #4 with 136,000 copies.  Compare that with Britney’s debut Britney Jean this week with 107,000 units.

Meanwhile, the Robertsons sold another 104,000 copies, which was good for #5.  That’s only a 23% drop from its first week sales, which in this day and age is pretty good.

Again, draw your own conclusions. Some additional commentary here.

Wait! You think there is something WRONG with people preferring something, well, ANYTHING, to Britney Spears? You're upset by this?! You think people realizing that Britney is a complete fraud, and has not got one shred of actual talent, means there is a Dementia pandemic? I would hope it means people are wising up. Although selling 107,000 units means there are still 107,000 morons out there. They are the ones who need their heads examined, and maybe you do too!
