The first Christmas record of the year as arrived. And yes, it’s only August

Scrolling through the guide on my TV last weekend, several channels had some sort of Christmas movie scheduled. Meanwhile, it was 35 degrees outside (for American readers, that 95. And it was humid.)

Insanity, I thought. But Christmas creep has begun.

As someone who works in the radio business, there are a couple of companies that digitally deliver new releases to my inbox every day. The first new Christmas song arrived yesterday. I’m not sure of the strategy behind the timing of this release, but someone things dropping this in early August was a good idea.
