The Foo Fighters are hosted three free sunrise listening sessions for But Here We Are this. And they REALLY meant “at sunrise.”

To underscore that the Foo Fighters are really facing a new day with the new album But Here We Are–the first since the death of both drummer Taylor Hawkins and Dave’s mom Virginia last year–the band is hosting sunrise listening parties in three cities tomorrow (June 1): New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles.

How much of a Foos fan are you? Are you willing show up for sunrise to hear the new record a day before it gets released?

NYC is the furthest east so it gets the sunrise first at 4:45 am EDT. That listening party will be held at The Rooftop at Pier 17 at 89 South Street. As soon as the sun peaks over the horizon, the music will start. Doors open at 4.

Toronto comes next (sunrise is at 4:51 am EDT). That listening party will happen at the Budweiser Stage, 909 Lake Shore Boulevard West. Doors open at 4:15 am.

Finally, there’s LA. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Foos show up themselves at LA Historic State Park at 1245 N Spring Street where the sun will rise at 4:55 PDT. Doors open at 4:30 am.

No tickets are needed. Just dress accordingly and show up.

UPDATE: Anyone go? What was it like?
