The gigs are starting to roll in for Toronto’s new Rogers Stadium

Last year, it was announced that a new temporary stadium was being built in Downsview Park in Toronto. It’s a temporary structure built in conjunction with Live Nation that may end up being a permanent new venue in a very accessible park of the city.

Rogers Stadium will be the largest concert venue in Toronto, occupying a 44-acre site on what was once Downsview Airport. With a capacity of 50,000 or better, it’s scheduled to open June 29.

Some dates have been announced already:

June 29: Stray Kids
July 7-8: Coldplay
July 11-12: Coldplay
July 22-23: Blackpink
Aug. 24-25: Oasis
Sep. 3-5: System of a Down and Deftones with Polyphia
Sep. 10: Hozier
