The Hip join Peloton’s All For One festival ride

It’s an addition that might raise a few eyebrows for an international exercise ride-along, but the Tragically Hip are one of the 25 artists included in this year’s three-day Peloton All For One Music Festival.

“From July 1-3, we’re harnessing that energy and packing it into an epic three-day celebration of music, movement and one another. We’ll unite to create one force, one frequency—felt across the globe,” the company says.

The Hip’s “New Orleans Is Sinking” and “Little Bones” will be included in a special Spotify playlist featuring all 25 artists and will be used during a class on July 1.  It’s also fitting that the Hip is the only Candian band included in this year’s festival.

Other bands involved this year include Daddy Yankee, Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani, Imagine Dragons, Migos, Pearl Jam, Tina Turner, Twenty One Pilots and others. The full roster, with dates, is available here

The way it works, Peloton explains, is participants can pick cycling, running, strength and yoga classes featuring the artists they like, whether live or on-demand.

New classes will be added throughout the weekend and participants are encouraged to get in as many as they can. “Make sure you pace yourself and complement your high-sweat, high-intensity cardio and strength classes with yoga flows and stretches, for a total-body, total-mind experience that’ll keep your energy on point for all three days,” Peloton says. “But just like any music festival, the time in between performances is just as much a part of the weekend as the main event,” encouraging people to share their photos and motivation on social media.
