Cool!

The LA Dodgers have a quick-thinking organist

When I was part of a company that advised the Toronto Maple Leafs on in-game music, we tried to create playlists of songs appropriate for every conceivable situation. Fights. Opposition goals. A bad call. Meanwhile, we had Jimmy at the organ who knew exactly what to do when something happened on the ice or anywhere in the arena.

Because I know how hard it is to work game ops or play the organ at a sporting event, I completely appreciate what the LA Dodgers’ organist did when an errant balloon floated over the field.

  • Enjoyed the music on the game 2 NLDS. That rap stuff is a real turn off!
