The meltdown of the Russian music scene

Thanks to Putin’s insane, illegal, immoral, and plain evil invasion of Ukraine, many Russians–the ones not sent to the front as wave after wave of cannon fodder–are suffering. This includes untold numbers of Russian musical artists. The country’s music industry has also been decimated. A staggering 30% of the country’s performers have either stopped playing gigs or fled the country.
