The Nirvana Nevermind baby lawsuit just won’t go away

Spencer Eldon and his lawyers continue to go after Nirvana, their record label, their photographer–a dozen parties in all–over the iconic artwork for the band’s Nevermind album. He’s alleging that his naked picture as a baby is akin to child porn and child exploitation and wants money.

There have been legal zigs and zags involving the filing of suits, dismissals, and refilings of amended complaints. And just a week after the latest dismissal, Elden’s people were back with yet another amended complaint.

Nirvana’s team is naturally pissed.

“The time has run. Elden’s decision to not sue these defendants for the past 30 years, despite his decades-long knowledge of their same and unvaried conduct, is dispositive of his claim. It is as simple as that.”

Eldon has dined out on his fame for decades. He’s even got a Nevermind tattoo. That’s gonna be tough to argue against.

The saga continues.
