The Oasis reunion documentary has a release date

The reason the Oasis tour took so long to organize is because they wanted to cover everything from every conceivable angle from start to finish. Naturally, a comprehensive documentary documenting the whole thing from start to finish.

Filmmaker Steven Knight and directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern shot untold terabytes of footage at all stages of the tour. And while post-production continues, we now know that Oasis Live 25 will be out in September. There will be a theatrical release (including IMAX) followed by streaming on Hulu/Disney.

Expect the first joint Liam/Noel interview in 25 years, rehearsals, backstage footage, interviews with fans, a look at the band’s influence, and, of course, plenty of in-concert material. This doesn’t sound like your standard rock doc.

Everything begins with the theatrical release September 11. The streaming dates are still TBA.
